Invert is a Swiss start-up founded to provide advanced prospection solutions for the green energy market.

Our aim is straightforward: to bridge the gap between the scientific world and the energy industry. We turn cutting-edge research into non-invasive, reliable, and affordable survey methods that reduce both cost and environmental impact.

Though established as a commercial entity in February 2024. Our methods have been refined through years of testing in volcanic fields, mountain chains, and sedimentary basins.

Unmatched Resolution at Depth

While traditional ANT inversions offer grid sizes of a few kilometers, Invert delivers anomalies in the order of hundred of meters. We are the only company experienced in exploring geothermal settings with Nodal Ambient Noise Tomography (NANT) while maintaining high resolution down to 5 km depth.

Passive Seismics Advantage

Invert is the only service provider worldwide capable of delivering Nodal Ambient Noise Tomography (NANT) and extracting Nodal Ambient Noise Attenuation Tomography (ANAT) from the exact same dataset.

Attenuation is the key parameter for detecting fluid content. While traditional studies require earthquakes to measure this, we extract it from seismic ambient noise. This allows us to pinpoint deep-seated aquifers and geothermal reservoirs with a precision other providers cannot offer.

From tropical forests in Indonesia to the Swiss Alps, we are the only Ambient Noise Tomography provider with proven experience across such diverse geological settings. Our team handles complex logistics to acquire data across different countries and continents, ensuring consistent results regardless of the terrain.

This allows us to operate in sensitive environments—from alpine reserves to populated areas—without leaving a trace.
